Hi, I’m Danya! I’m a content and product marketer with more than a decade of experience building strategic programs to drive awareness, engagement, and measurable growth in SaaS environments and beyond.
As a content marketer, I see myself as more than a marketer – rather, a content architect who shapes narratives, organizes editorial systems, and creates content that supports the overall GTM strategy in lockstep with other teams. At the same time, product marketing goes hand in hand with content marketing; the best marketer can do both: become an expert in the product on top of being able to communicate clearly about it.
In many roles, I’ve been seen as the “go-to” person on the marketing team and quickly become an authority in the product and industry, even when it’s brand-new to me (like business continuity or volume photography!). I immerse myself in the industry, learning everything I can about the product, competition, and most importantly, the customers and prospects. My ultimate goal is to become a subject matter expert myself and someone who can translate tech speak into formats for different target audiences – as well as my colleagues.
I thrive when there are opportunities to work cross functionally. Content can’t be created in a vacuum, and members of product, growth, revenue, and customer-facing teams have valuable input that can help shape a narrative. I love using and learning about new tools and finding ways they can assist and speed up workflows without taking away personality. These days, so many companies sound the same; a content marketer’s job is to help them stand out in the crowd – and that means not relying purely on AI, but instead using it as a building block.
I also have extensive experience managing events and social media strategies, from workshops to global campaigns.
When I’m not diving into the latest marketing trends, I’m finding ways to make a difference in causes like climate change, human rights, and animal welfare. I’m always looking for chances to learn, grow, and contribute to something meaningful.
